Anna Sikkema is a young Dutch artist. She published her first children’s book in own management in 2018. It is called “De giraffe die sterren eet” (The giraffe that eats stars) and is about food, with a wink at the peculiar eating habits that people as well as animals possess. Funny poems with beautiful illustrations. “My petfriends stole my clothes” is a realisation of an idea Anna had since she was a teenager. A short story about a goblin and his cheeky little friends. Quirky and also this time with Anna’s own illustrations.
